David Sinclair
Cracking and reversing the aging clock

David Sinclair believes aging is not inevitable but a treatable condition. Speaking at Science Unlimited 2019, he explained why we age – and how we can reverse the process to extend human healthspan and lifespan.

David’s research focuses primarily on sirtuin proteins as well as small molecules and epigenetic reprogramming genes that can prevent and reverse age-related diseases – with several already in clinical trials. Listed as TIME magazine’s “100 most influential people in the world” and one of the “Top 50 in Healthcare," David is Professor in the Department of Genetics, Blavatnik Institute and co-Director of the Paul F. Glenn Center for the Biological Mechanisms of Aging at Harvard Medical School. He was recently inducted as an Officer of the Order of Australia for his work in healthcare and biosecurity.
