Speaking at Science Unlimited 2019, Stephan Mergenthaler outlined the World Economic Forum’s efforts to communicate the complex interconnections and interdependencies that characterize today’s global political economy.
Stephan is responsible for analysis of global transformations and has developed a dynamic knowledge tool to monitor and understand the factors driving change across industries, economies and global issues. Aimed at supporting more informed decision-making by leaders, these maps visualize connections between 120+ topics and surface the most relevant research and analysis on these links. Stephan is currently Head of Strategic Intelligence and Member of the Executive Committee at the World Economic Forum.
