Travel Allowance

In order to offer the best solution to all Editors Summit 2018 attendees, Frontiers will provide a ‘travel allowance’ to Editors coming from abroad to cover travel expenses. You will need to make your own travel arrangements.

The venue for the weekend is all-inclusive and paid for directly by Frontiers, from dinner on Friday June 22  through to lunch on Sunday June 24. Frontiers is also offering  a bus transfer to and from venue, leaving from Frontiers headquarters in Lausanne on Friday afternoon and dropping off at Lausanne train station on Sunday afternoon. This means  your travel allowance is only needed to cover any additional expenses, including:

  • flights
  • local travel within Switzerland
  • any additional hotel nights & meals before and/or after the Forum

The amount of your travel allowance will be based on geographic location. Once you confirm your attendance, please provide the following information  to our finance team and they will make the transfer promptly:

Name of Beneficiary
Residential address
Bank name
Branch SWIFT code / ABA routing number
Account number (or IBAN if applicable)

You can pay for your travel directly using the funds from the travel allowance. We will not require receipts or expense reports.
